Import of goods is one of the important components of the country's foreign economic activity. in the world trade. No country in the world, regardless of the level of its development and prosperity, is able to provide themselves sufficiently with all types of goods. The state is sometimes more profitable to purchase products abroad, since when importing, internal costs are saved due to rejection of national production of one or another product, since the prices of goods imported from abroad lower in comparison with the costs of their production within the country. ''Uztrade''JSC carries out operations for the import of products (works, services) into Uzbekistan on the basis of concluded Commission Agreements with Customers and Import Contracts with foreign Suppliers in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Moreover, ''Uztrade''JSC assists in the provision of certification, laboratory and other additional services required for customs clearance of products arriving in accordance with the concluded contracts. The procedure for carrying out import transactions: 1. Receiving an application from the Customer, indicating detailed information about the imported products; 2. Conducting marketing research and receiving commercial offers from foreign suppliers; 3. Coordination with the Customer of the received commercial proposals and determination of a foreign Supplier of products; 4. Implementation of preliminary calculation and signing of the Commission Agreement with the Customer; 5. Coordination with the Customer and signing of the Contract for import with the foreign Supplier; 6. Receipt of funds in national currency from the Customer in accordance with the Commission Agreement; 7. Conversion of funds and payment to a foreign Supplier in accordance with the terms of the signed contract for import; 8. As the products stay in accordance with the terms of delivery, customs clearance of the cargo (certification, declaration, etc.); 9. Implementation of final settlements and transfer of products to the Customer. In any import transaction, the formal importer is ''Uztrade''JSC. However, the actual owner of the products, as a rule, becomes the Customer from the moment the prepayment is made. In addition to all of the above, ''Uztrade''JSC assists in the transportation of imported goods.
