Uzbekistan and Afghanistan signed agreements for $ 82 million

At the Uzbek-Afghan forum, export contracts and agreements worth $ 82.2 million were signed.

Uzbekistan and Afghanistan signed export contracts and agreements totaling $ 82.2 million at a business forum in Termez, the press service of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade reported. The event was attended by over 60 Afghan companies.

As part of the signed documents, Uzbekistan will supply its southern neighbor with petrochemical, textile, food products and construction materials.

Uztrade signed contracts for $ 15.5 million, enterprises of Surkhandarya region - for $ 15 million, Uzbekneftegaz - for $ 11.5 million, Uztekstilprom association - for $ 10 million, and Uzsanoatexport - for $ 10 million dollars, the Export Promotion Agency - by 8.8 million, "Uzkimyosanoat" - by 5.4 million dollars.

In addition bilateral talks were held with yhe delegation of Afghanistan, were the parties discussed the prospects for accelerated growth of mutual trade through the border trade zone
